Outdoor Civil Ceremonies at The Tudor Barn
If you’re thinking of making your nuptials a little more natural, then we’re delighted to offer outdoor civil ceremonies between 1st March and 31st October.
Set in lush greenery, the stunning wedding gazebo is the perfect place to tie the knot in fresh air and (hopefully) wonderful sunshine. An outdoor ceremony costs an extra non-refundable £200 + VAT (on top of the indoor set-up fee) – this includes setting up costs for chairs, music, registrar tables and aisle carpet.
Of course, the British Weather is unpredictable to say the least. That’s why the registrar will have the final say as to whether the ceremony can go ahead outside or not. If the weather does take a turn, however, then no problem; the Garden Room will already be set up and ready to go.
If you’d like to hold your civil ceremony outdoors, you need to complete an OUTSIDE CEREMONY AGREEMENT FORM (available from your registrar at Buckinghamshire County Council) at least TWO MONTHS prior to your big day. You can read more about having your ceremony outdoors on their website at https://weddings.buckscc.gov.uk/plan-my-wedding/outdoor-ceremonies
Please note: If you already have a garden room civil ceremony booked and want to switch to an outside wedding then we need 90 days notice. There is an additional fee of £200 + VAT, which is non-refundable, and the registrar needs to be informed.
